Despite mixed weather conditions, the Munster Agricultural Society’s Cork Summer Show 2016 attracted thousands of show goers from all over the country over the weekend.

With national agricultural competitions including cattle, sheep, goats and horse breeding, as well as the All Ireland Cook Off 2016 (Craft Butchers Association of Ireland) and the National Tug Of War Championships among others, crowds came from 19 counties to participate and experience one of Ireland’s most loved shows.

Supported by Cork County Council, the voluntary committee of the Munster Agricultural Society co-ordinate a show that has attracted audiences as large as 50,000 in the past.
