A batch of Lailand Fromage Chilal cheese is being recalled due to the possible presence of metal pieces.
In a notice issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), it says that the implicated batch of Lailand Fromage Chilal (pâte filée) has a pack size of 250g, the batch code is 043 and the best-before date is February 2, 2021.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.
Recall of Snackrite Savoury Snack Mix
Meanwhile, the FSAI has also issued a recall notice for all batches of 250g Snackrite Savoury Snack Mix. The products are being recalled due to the possible presence of the pesticide ethylene oxide in the sesame seeds used in the product.
The country of origin of the product is noted as Germany.

In another notice, the FSAI has also warned that peanuts and soybeans are not correctly emphasised on the ingredients list of Loma Linda Spicy Pad Thai with Konjac Noodles. This may make these batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts and soybeans or its constituents.
