Carbery Plastics unveiled its new ‘Fuel Caddy’ at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore Co. Offaly, last week.

Carbery Plastics – well-known for its oil tanks, water tanks, storage units, bins and containers – hopes that the Fuel Caddy will be its latest product to become a common sight in Irish farmyards.

The Fuel Caddy range, according to the Cork-based company, provides “easy and convenient” transport of diesel, AdBlue and petrol from the forecourt to one’s machine.

What is the Fuel Caddy?

It is a mobile, portable storage and dispensing solution, which “maximises productivity and eliminates the requirement for drums, cans and barrels on-site”, the manufacturer claims.

Designed for easy transportation, the standard Fuel Caddy comes with a 3m hose, delivery nozzle and rotary hand pump. It has a capacity of 55L.

Carbery Plastics Operations and Development Manager Cal McCarthy commented on the product, noting: “The Fuel Caddy makes the transport of diesel, petrol and AdBlue hassle-free.”

Elaborating, the manager added that the Fuel Caddy “allows refuelling both in professional and sports or leisure activities”.

The National Ploughing Championships was the perfect location to launch our new Fuel Caddy, as you have a fantastic audience and staff on hand to answer any questions.

Carbery Plastics celebrated 40 years in business this July and is “going from strength to strength”, according to the company.

All Carbery products are manufactured in Ireland at the company’s purpose-built production facilities in Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
