Slurry equipment manufacturer SlurryKat will attend this year’s National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly on September 19, 20 and 21.

SlurryKat, based in Waringstown, Co. Armagh, manufactures slurry handling equipment such as tankers and umbilical systems, as well as producing a range of farm trailers, shear grabs, slurry pumps and mixers alongside road sweepers.

The display at this year’s event will include single and tandem-axle tankers, low-loader and Proline silage trailers, slurry applicators, lay-flat hose reelers, slurry pumps, headland management systems and road sweepers.

SlurryKat will also officially launch its southern Irish dealer – Laois-based Bailey Machinery Sales (BMS) – at the event. BMS and SlurryKat joined forces earlier this year – to grow market share south of the border.

BMS Managing Director Darren Bailey is himself no stranger to the machinery industry, having grown up in the family agricultural contracting business.

He said: “I am very proud to be associated with such an innovative and market-leading company; its products are a testament to real world testing and development within its own contracting business. I look forward to introducing the brand to customers in the south.”
