Amazing prices at Roscommon Mart's first weanling show and sale of the year
Roscommon mart hosted its opening show and sale of weanlings on Tuesday night with a good entry of excellent quality stock.
According to the Mart’s report, there was a lively trade for Bulls with prices averaging from €2.44/kg up to €3.17/kg with an 86% clearance of lots.
It also says there was also a brisk trade for Weanlings Heifers. Prices averaged from €2.56/kg up €3.56/kg with 85% of the lots sold. Springers on the night made from €1100 up to €1400.
The Mart says there were a good number of both Farmers and exporters in attendance.
