Agriland Media Group and leading Irish market research agency, Opinions are delighted to announce a new partnership which will see cutting-edge market research conducted on the agriculture sector.
Farmers and those who work in agriculture will be invited to join a special research panel where they will be surveyed on an ongoing basis about many issues and topics affecting the sector.
It is free to sign up for the agri-panel and respondents to the research will be rewarded for their participation. There is also no obligation to participate in the surveys.
The AgriOpinions Community which is being created will give a voice to those actually working within agriculture across the country.
David Cullen CEO at Opinions said: “We are excited to partner with Agriland, Ireland’s largest digital farming news portal to develop the AgriOpinions Community.
“This research solution allows our clients access to high quality, robust and reliable research among farmers across Ireland.
“This partnership will be transformative in providing deeper insight and understanding of the farming community at such an important time for the sector in Ireland and beyond”.
Project manager at Opinions, Richard Cooper added: “The AgriOpinions Community has got off to a flying start, with huge numbers of farmers already on board, but there is always room for more.
“We have been thrilled by the response from our clients to this platform from across the spectrum from farmer representative bodies, government and commercial organisations.
“Farmers have traditionally been a hard-to-reach cohort when it comes to research, so AgriOpinions is solving a real problem in addressing this issue and ensuring that the voice of farming and rural Ireland is heard.”
Research
The surveys will be conducted by Opinions and the data will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Submissions to a survey will be anonymous unless the respondent selects to give permission at the end of a survey for data to be shared.
Managing director of Agriland Media Group, Cormac Farrelly said: “As a farmer myself, I know all too well how many challenges the agriculture sector faces on a daily basis.
“By opening up this partnership with Opinions, we are offering farmers and those working in agri-business the opportunity to have their voices heard, en masse, and express their opinions about matters that affect them.
“As we all know, digital is the future for farming, whether that’s in how the sector consumes its news and information, how it improves farming practices or how it corresponds with relevant authorities.
“This research panel will allow the AgriOpinions Community to express its opinion in the most hassle-free and accessible way possible, while also rewarding them for their time and input.”
