The calf village has being a fantastic success over the last two years, and is sure to draw crowds at this years show once again.

The show will take place next Friday and Saturday (October 9-10) in the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Rispoval Calf Village

At the show, Zoetis will be promoting key products designed to protect calves during their most vulnerable early life stages:

One of these products includes Rispoval RS+Pi3 IntraNasal, which was the first intranasal vaccine on the market.

The product is designed to protect young calves from nine days of age against key pneumonia viruses such as RSV and Pi3.

Another product on offer which has being gaining a lot of traction is the updated Rispoval 2 protocol.

The single-dose booster can be given intramuscularly to calves over three months of age, providing an additional six months of protection for RSV and 3 months for Pi3.

The products simplicity and extended protection sets animals up for a healthy life, by safeguarding them during their most vulnerable stages.

Last but not least, Zoetis is proud to have its Protivity product available.

It is the first and only modified live vaccine licensed in Europe for the active immunisation of calves from one week-of-age to reduce clinical signs and lung lesions caused by Mycoplasma bovis infection.

The Mycoplasma bovis pathogen is a major contributor to chronic bovine respiratory disease, something which significantly impacts calf welfare and performance.

The Protivity vaccine offers early protection when calves are most vulnerable, forming a vital part of a comprehensive respiratory health strategy.

Together, Rispoval and Protivity provide farmers with a powerful toolkit to protect calves against key pneumonia pathogens during their critical early life stages.

With research indicating that the first 60 days in a calf's life have a lifelong impact on their future health and productivity as dairy cows, it is well worth calling by the village.
