Forestry

If the situation surrounding the forestry licence logjam doesn’t get fixed, there will be "a lot of people joining dole queues".
"While the development of forestry in Ireland is our objective, the health and safety of everyone in the sector is of paramount importance."
Andrew Doyle, Minister of State with responsibility for Forestry, has announced the commencement of the Forestry Act 2014, from May 24, 2017.
