Eedy Doorman Fame was named Supreme Champion at the 2026 FBD National Dairy Show in the Green Glens Arena today (Saturday, October 10).

Judge Mark Logan tapped out the seven-year-old cow making her the first Irish bred cow to win the title of Supreme Champion at the National Dairy Show three times, bringing a wave of emotions to the ring.

Only one other cow in the 44 years of the FBD National Dairy Show has claimed the title three times, that cow was the Canadian import, Moralta Inspiration Fame, a fourth dam to Eedy Doorman Fame.

In fact, Eedy Doorman Fame seems to be closely following her fourth dam’s footsteps, having also gained the first classification score of EX97 max since Moralta Inspiration Fame did 30 years prior.

Eedy Doorman Fame is bred and exhibited by the Helen family from Clonakilty, Co. Cork, comprising Jason Helen, his wife Laura, and his parents Robert and Sylvia.

The cow previously took home the Supreme Champion title at the National Dairy Show in 2023 and 2024.

Eedy Doorman Fame was born out of Clonpaddin Bk Fame ET (EX94) on August 18, 2019, and was sired by Val-Bisson Doorman (EX90).
