The commencement of payments of over €13.4 million to approximately 98,000 farmers has been announced by Minister Creed.
It has been confirmed that a total of €433 million in unused crisis reserve funding will be made available for reimbursement to EU farmers.
The European Commission has announced that it will refund Irish farmers to the tune of €13.6m in December of this year.
