The EU Commission has launched an investigation to determine if Zoetis may have breached EU competition rules.
Beef Plan Movement accused the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) of being "not sufficiently independent", a report said.
The EU’s competition policy must defend interests of farmers with the same vigour as it defends those of consumers, according to the EU's Agriculture Committee.
