Senator Malcolm Noonan has questioned Coillte's decision to “absorb the work” of Coillte Nature, the company's not-for-profit branch.
The Green Party has criticised Coillte's move to absorb its Coillte Nature division, and questioned how this will impact its targets.
MEP Michael McNamara said he believes the decision to shut down Coillte Nature, is driven by commercial purposes.
