After identifying poor-performing paddocks, the next step is to choose a grass variety which will best suit the system on the farm.
Now that we have technically entered summer, farmers can turn their attention to reseeding poor-performing paddocks.
The inclement weather experienced has left its mark on paddocks. Where farmers turned cattle into paddocks swards have now been poached.
After paddocks are set up the next job is to utilise all of the grass available to the animal. This will increase sward quality.
