A tractor that had been stolen in west Co. Cork last week was recovered by Gardaí some 400km away in Co. Leitrim, An Garda Síochána has said.

The vintage tractor was taken from a shed in Schull, Co. Cork last Wednesday – before being located by members of An Garda Síochána a couple of days later in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Confirming the news to AgriLand, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said:

“Gardaí have recovered a stolen tractor following a burglary in West Cork on March 24, 2021.
