Over €1.9 million was issued in various farm scheme payments last week, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has confirmed.

The Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3) accounted for the majority of the payments at more than €1.5 million.

The latest data from the department shows that 51,450 TAMS 3 approvals have been issued so far.

22,383 payment applications have been submitted, with 19,369 payments totalling €177.1 million being made to farmers.

TAMS 3 provides grants to farmers to build and/or improve a specified range of farm buildings and equipment on their holding.

DAFM

The data shows that an additional €171,250 was issued under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).

In total, 118,891 farmers have now received €845.05 million under these schemes.

The figure above includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €38.3 million and the 2025 National Reserve of €3.1 million.

€28,861 was paid through the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).

A further €22,900 was paid out to farmers last week for the 2025 Eco Scheme.

The department issued €112,410 to participants in the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS).

€17,025 was also issued under the CSP Dairy Beef Welfare Scheme, while €9,480 was paid for the 2025 Protein Aid Scheme.
