Meanwhile, the department has announced that tranche 6 of TAMS 3 will not open until next month.

In a update issued to approved farm advisors, DAFM has confirmed that the next tranche of the scheme will open for applications on January 9, 2025.

The department explained that this is to facilitate development work on the 60% grant aid rate for nutrient storage investments.

The closing date for submission of tranche 6 applications will take place on March 7, 2025, as had been previously advised by the department.

While the system is closed to accept application submissions, drafting of proposals including uploading documents will be available with the exception of the new nutrient storage investments.

All other functions such as queries, document upload and submitting claims will continue to be available.

The department also noted that the payment claims facility for the scheme remains open.
