The Farm Well Hub is a new Irish online resource specifically dedicated to farmers mental health and well-being.

The Farm Well Hub is a resource for farmers and their families, containing all you need to know about supports services.

The team at Farm Well Hub will be speaking with real farmers, sharing their stories, and starting the conversation about farmer wellbeing.

As part of the initiative, Farm Well Hub is currently hosting a series of 30-minute webinars.

Each webinar will feature a topic relevant to farmer well-being.

Battling Demons: Addressing Addiction in the Farming Community

Date:  November 13, 2024, at 8:00p.m.
Focused on addiction in the farming community, this session will cover various forms of addiction, underlying causes, and treatment options, featuring stories of recovery.
Speakers: Hosted by Anne-Marie Doran Amella Coaching & Consulting, with contributions from Eamonn Kelly – Enterprise, Training & Social Enterprise Coordinator at Wexford Local Development and Liam Glynn, ex gambler and alcoholic, part-time farmer and advocate for Mental Health.

Outcome: Enhanced understanding of addiction, reduced stigma, and better access to treatment and support resources.
