An agri-store based in Canningstown, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, will be offering discounts on milk replacer and a range of other agri and hardware products at its open day this coming Saturday, March 23.

McCabe Feeds will be offering a range of special offers, with up to 30% off in-store and online and the business will also have prizes to give out over the course of the day.

The open day will run from 9:00a.m to 5:00p.m, with online promotions running across the weekend.

Speaking to Agriland ahead of the event, store manager Andrew Palmer said: “All are welcome to come along to the open day this Saturday, March 23.

“We have offers on milk replacer, dairy hygiene products as well as numerous promotions, special offers and giveaways throughout the day across all of our product ranges, from toys, to tools, to pesticides etc.”

Some of the equipment the shop stocks includes:

  • A large range of veterinary products;
  • Calving and lambing equipment;
  • Agri-supplies;
  • Clothing and footwear;
  • Lighting;
  • Hardware;
  • Tools;
  • Farm equipment.

There will also be a live radio broadcast in Canningstown from 10:00a.m to 1:00p.m with radio staff from iRadio handing out goodies and mingling with the customers and entertainment if people want to bring children along.

Property marking at Cavan open day

An Garda Siochána will be in attendance on the day carrying our property marking and members of the public are welcome to bring whatever equipment they would like marked – including large and small items.

Commenting on the open day, director at McCabes Feeds, Damien McCabe said: “Many of our suppliers will be present on the day to showcase their products and share their knowledge in all areas of farming, from dairy hygiene to animal health and vaccines, to soil and fertiliser queries including silage products, tools and much more.”

Some of the suppliers who will be present on the day include: Rhino Products Ltd; Grassland Agro; Auctus; JFC; Germinal Seeds; Mullinahone Co-Op; Jefferson; Murphy Concrete; Nitrofert; Biocel and lots more.

Tama, which manufactures Netwrap will also launching its new product, EZ Web.

“In addition to our own suppliers, there will be a range of local businesses with stands set up on the day,” McCabe added.
