€2.9 million was issued by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) last week to farmers across a range of schemes.
The latest data shows that over €1.34 million was paid out to farmers under the new Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS 3), while a further €52,300 was issued under TAMS 2.
Over €51.4 million has now been paid out to date under TAMS 3 across 5,875 claims.
23,720 applications for the scheme have been approved by the department with 7,594 payment applications submitted.
Last week, almost €850,000 was issued to farmers under the 2024 BISS and and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
119,056 farmers have now received a total of €840 million in payments under these measures.
The department noted that this figure includes the 2024 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €35.6million and the 2024 National Reserve of €3.1 million.
A further €220,000 was issued by the department to farmers under the 2024 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
While an additional €187,000 was paid out for the Green, Low-carbon, Agri-Environment Scheme (GLAS).
The department paid €85,559 to participants in the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS). €48.2 million has now been paid to 4,686 farmers under the 2024 scheme.
DAFM paid out €150,500 to farmers for the Baling Assistance Payment (BAP) and almost €62,000 was issued under the Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM).
DAFM also confirmed that a further €1,345 was issued last week under the Shannon Callows Flood Scheme.
The €800,000 scheme was announced by government in 2023 to support farmers who had lost fodder due to severe flooding in the Shannon Callows.
