ABP Food Group, a Larry Goodman company, has won the Multi-national Exporter of the Year Award, 2014, at the Irish Exporters Association export industry awards.

The award recognises the success of ABP Food Group in developing and growing export opportunities for Irish beef in very competitive export markets.

The Export Industry Awards was attended by more than 500 guests at the Convention Centre Dublin. Organised by the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) the awards recognise the remarkable achievements of companies working in the export industry.

On receiving the award, Dave O’Connell, Commercial Director ABP said the award is testament to the work carried out by the European and international sales and marketing teams and the support they receive from our six processing sites. It has been a great team effort in a highly competitive environment. “We are fully committed and look forward to building on this success in 2015 as we develop new and exciting opportunities for Irish beef in new international markets.”

The keynote address was delivered by Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Alex White. Honoring the award winners the Minister said who said the awards gives us the opportunity to celebrate Ireland’s global significance in exportation and in our continued growth and development. “I congratulate all award nominees and winners on their success this evening.”
