VF Venieri – an Italian brand – is fast becoming the loading shovel of choice here in Ireland – for livestock farmers, agri merchants and large-scale agricultural contractors.

Venieri loaders have been here in Ireland for several years; they are now an increasingly common sight across the country – whether climbing silage pits with heavy-duty, folding forks; working in busy retail yards; or on a growing number of livestock farms.

Venieri has a loading shovel to suit any Irish farming requirement; there’s a model to handle any task facing a farmer or contractor – day-in, day-out.

For example, the range-topping 18.63B, which weighs a beefy 22t, is the ideal machine for large-scale contractors. It boasts a 228hp Deutz engine. This loading shovel can be coupled to a wide range of attachments; it’s equally at home with a wide, folding silage fork or big, ‘high-tip’ grain bucket.

In total, there are 18 different models in the range. The 9.63C, for example, is suitable for many contractors tackling a varied workload – be it silage, dung or straw. It weighs 9.67t and has 128hp on tap.

Its smaller sibling – the 7.63C – is ideal for a large livestock farmer, or around a busy merchants’ operation. It weighs 8.35t and is powered by a 106hp, Deutz engine.

What you might not know is that Venieri also manufactures smaller loaders. Many of these are ideal on farms where space is at a premium; they are, nonetheless, surprisingly powerful and capable.

The 2.63C model – for instance – is an ideal ‘pocket rocket’. As capable as a tractor and front loader, this machine is powered by a 50hp engine. It weighs just 4.8t.

Most recently, Venieri has also launched a new pivot-steer (articulated) telescopic handler. The new machine is the 8.63TL. It can lift 3.2t to a height of over 5.2m. Muscle is provided by a 136hp, 3.62L, four-cylinder Deutz engine.

The machine’s maximum operating weight is 8.2t. The first of these machines will soon be on their way to Ireland.

Venieri’s main Irish distributor is McCarthy Plant and Agri Sales, based close to Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. It opened in 1994. In 2013, a second branch was opened – in Lisavaird, Clonakilty, Co. Cork.

Veneiri prides itself on its excellent after sales service; a reliable and efficient dispatch service ensures fast delivery of spare parts.

These Italian-built machines are manufactured and designed using high-quality components – avoiding electronics where possible.

A specialised technical team is responsible for the manufacture and testing of each machine, on the production line, at all stages of assembly.
