Kubota is showcasing a wider range of agricultural implements at this week’s LAMMA show in England.

The range of orange-liveried machines includes a selection of disc mowers, rakes, tedders, flail choppers, fertiliser spreaders, round balers and wrappers.

These are all manufactured and distributed for Kubota by the Kverneland Group.

“This is an exciting time in the expansion of Kubota’s agricultural business,” said Rob Edwards, Kubota Agriculture’s Business Development Manager.

“Our vision is to introduce a range of Kubota implements through carefully selected dealers who can support and expand our tractor and machinery business.

“While we have already hand-picked some of our existing tractor dealers, there will be further new dealer appointments over the next three years to broaden our network,” he said.

Currently, Kubota has 13 dealers in Ireland and the UK.

The widened range of implements joins Kubota’s MGX-III, M5001 and M7001 tractor ranges.

“It is our focus to give new and existing Kubota tractor owners access to a range of productive and efficient implements that are available through their local dealer,” Edwards added.

For the 2017 season, Kubota will offer nine models of tedder, from the four-rotor TE4052 with its 5.2m working width, up to the 10-rotor TE10514C with a 13.3m working width.

The company will also offer 10 rakes, from the single-rotor 3.2m wide RA1032, up to the twin-rotor RA2590 Hydro – the latter offering an adjustable working width from 8m to 9m.

The plain disc mower offering will extend to 15 models, from a 4-disc, 1.66m-wide unit up to a 9.5m-wide butterfly unit.

Front-mounted models will also be available, offering 2.8m and 3.2m cutting widths.

Some 11 mower conditioners will feature, comprising mounted models with cutting widths from 2.4m up to the 3.6m, plus trailed models from 2.8m up to a 3.2m-wide centre-pivot model.

Kubota baler

The Kubota BF3255 can be equipped with a 14-knife chopper.

Two fixed-chamber balers, with or without a 14-knife Supercut chopping unit, join the line-up. These line up alongside five variable chamber balers, including the BV5216 Flexiwrap baler wrapper combination.

Round bale wrappers will extend from the basic, linkage-mounted WR1100C up to the trailed, heavy-duty WR1600J.
