The rise of regenerative agriculture has emerged as a promising solution, offering a holistic approach to farming that restores ecosystems, improves soil health and enhances biodiversity.

As the world faces escalating environmental challenges and a growing demand for sustainable food production, the agricultural sector stands at a critical crossroads.

Conventional farming methods are proving in sufficient in meeting the needs of a growing global population.

Providing a platform for the implementation and acceleration of regenerative practices through collaboration, innovation, and partnerships, the Regenerative Agriculture Summit Europe is hosting its third annual Summit in Amsterdam this September 3 to September 5.

This annual Summit brings together a diverse group of stakeholders from across the food and textiles value chain – from farmer to retailer.

Across three days, 550+ farmers, policy makers, industry leaders and sustainability advocates will participate in expert-led workshops, panel discussions and interactive sessions to explore innovative solutions, supply chain transparency and traceability, case studies and real-world challenges and learnings, and leveraging data within the transition.

The Summit serves as a catalyst for the transition to regenerative practices within the food and textiles sectors, providing opportunities for cross-industry collaborations and partnerships to drive positive change.

Innovation Showcase
One of the most exciting aspects of the Summit is the Innovation Showcase, a unique platform designed to spotlight promising AgTech solutions.

This year, the Summit is calling for applications from innovative commercial companies that are developing technologies and solutions that support regenerative practices.

Applications are stage agnostic and can relate to any food or textile solution within regenerative agriculture.

Five start-ups will be selected by the Innovation Showcase Selection Committee and have the chance to pitch their solutions on the main stage of this year’s Summit, giving them an opportunity to gain visibility, attract investment, and accelerate growth.

The Selection Committee:

  • Daan Wilms van Kersbergen, Investment Director, The Yield Lab;
  • Jaap Strengers, Managing Partner, Future Food Fund;
  • Laura Thissen, Managing Director, StartLife;
  • Naeem Lakhani, Founder and Managing Partner, The First Thirty;
  • Tijl Hoefnagels, Venture Partner, Rubio Impact Ventures.

Previous Innovation Showcase winner, founder and CEO of ContinuumAg, Michelle Hora, said:

“I would absolutely recommend this conference to others and I look forward to attending again myself.

“The draw for me was the calibre of regenerative leaders. Our company fits a need for these supply chain organisations and being at an event to get so many players in one space was fantastic.”

How to apply for the Innovation Showcase?
AgTech startups interested in participating in the Innovation Showcase at the Regenerative Agriculture Summit Europe can submit their applications through the summit’s website.

The application process involves providing detailed information about the start-up’s technology, previous investments, and the team behind the innovation.
