Automation solutions manager

LIC Automation, a subsidiary of LIC focused on automation and sensing technology in New Zealand and around the world, is looking to take on an automation solutions manager.

Based in either Munster or Leinster, this role is part of the LIC Automation Ireland team and will report to the country manager for the UK and Ireland.

The right candidate must be able to comfortably communicate with dairy farmers, as well as understand the issues and challenges they face on both a day-to-day and long-term basis.

Whoever is successful in securing this role will be required to liaise with customers and management within LIC Automation in order to provide solutions that will help farmers achieve their goals.

Technical sales advisor

The position of a technical sales advisor is currently vacant within Southern Fuel and Farm Supplies, an agricultural supply business.

As a member of the company’s expert technical sales team, the successful candidate will receive ongoing training and support – plus the resources that they need to succeed within a progressive business.

The role’s responsibilities include: supporting the company’s customers with expert technical advice; growing and developing the customer base; and identifying and developing business opportunities.

Potential applicants must ideally have an in-depth farming knowledge with practical experience of dairy and beef. A formal qualification in agriculture is also desirable.

Business development and sales manager

David Clarke Livestock is looking to hire a business development and sales manager. An ambitious candidate is being sought to become an integral part of the company’s team.

The role will include responsibilities such as helping to drive sales and developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will require the ability to manage, organise and co-ordinate all sales functions for both the farm and export business.

Those interested in applying must have a strong knowledge of the farming sector and livestock markets, as well as experience designing and implementing strategic business development plans – preferably within the livestock industry.
