Aurivo has become the latest milk processor to reveal its price for August, following its decision to hold its current figure.

This is unchanged from its July price.

Yesterday (Thursday, September 17) Dairygold also revealed its decision to hold its milk price.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the southern co-op said:

Dairygold maintains August quoted milk price unchanged at 30.69c/L, based on standard constituents of 3.3% protein and 3.6% butterfat, inclusive of bonuses and VAT.

“This equates to an average farm gate milk price of 35.06c/L based on average August milk solids, achieved by our suppliers, for all milk supplied to Dairygold,” the spokesperson said.

“Global market supplies are building once again and dairy market demand has eased over recent weeks. As is customary, the board will continue to review milk price on a month-by-month basis.”

Meanwhile, Carbery Group has increased its milk price for the month of August in the latest of milk processor prices for last month’s supplies.

The board of the west Cork group has decided to increase the price by 0.5c/L for last month.

This means that Carbery Group suppliers will receive a price of 32.4c/L including VAT for August.

Carbery Group consists of the four west Cork co-ops – Bandon, Barryroe, Drinagh and Lisavaird.
