Assistant Herdsperson
Farm Solutions is looking to hire an Assistant Herdsperson for a 280 head cow farm in Cork.
Joining a 3 person farm team, the candidate also needs to be a competent machinery operator as they will be expected to take charge of the diet feeder operation on a regular basis.
On occasion they may be required to contribute to other on-farm activities such as spreading slurry, fertiliser etc.

Senior Unit Farm Manager – Poultry
De Paor Consultancy is hiring a Senior Unit Farm Manager for a poultry enterprise for a client in KSA, Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing staff, animal health, business management, HR and H&S.
Each poultry farm consists of six units which have either 10 or 12 houses in each. The stocking density would be around 2.2m – 2.6m in a given cycle with production capacity of 2m – 2.4m birds.
A B Sc. Agriculture or equivalent qualification is desired for the position and benefits include health insurance and multiple paid flights home.

Pharvet is recruiting a Technical Support Manager based in Ireland, with occasional travel across the UK.
The ideal candidate would have a third level agricultural education, with a farming background along with some experience in engineering, IT proficient, or customer support experience.
