Teagasc invite tillage growers, merchants and all involved in the Irish grain industry to the Teagasc National Tillage Crops Forum.
The event will take place on September 5th at Keaden Hotel, Newbridge, County Kildare where talks, chaired by Teagasc chairman Jim O’Mahony, will begin at 2pm.
Topics covered will include planning 2014 crops programme; winter cereal varieties; analysis of profit from crop and farm; market prospects and updates on sustainable use directive on pesticides.
Speakers at the event will include Josephine Brennan, Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine, Ciaran Hickey of Teagasc, Frank Wijnands Wageningen University and Research Centre Netherlands, Noel Delaney from the IFA and Scott Lovell from Dairygold.
