Suir Sprayers will hold a ‘demo day’ for Lemken sprayers next Tuesday, August 1, in Ballygunner, Co. Waterford, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

There will be both mounted and trailed sprayers in action on the day: two mounted Sirius 10 models; and one Vega 12 trailed sprayer.

The demo day will involve putting each of the machines through two separate runs. The first demonstration will run from 10:00am until 12:00pm, while the second will take place from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

The event will be held one mile up the road from Suir Sprayers, which is located two miles outside Waterford city. According to the company’s co-founder, John Lynch, staff at Suir Sprayers’ base will be happy to direct people who are unsure of how to get to the demonstration.

Derek Delahunty and Paul Creasy, of Lemken, will be on hand to give advice on the machines, while staff of Suir Sprayers will provide information on pricing, TAMS (Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes) and any other questions people might have.

Lynch said: “Everyone is more than welcome to come along to the demo day. Whether you have an interest or just want to learn more, we will be on hand to give advice. It should be a great day for anyone to come along; the more the merrier.”
