There has been a shake-up at the board of Glanbia Co-operative Society.

Robert Prendergast and Brendan Hayes have ceased to be directors of the society.  As both have ceased to be directors of the society, they are automatically ceased to be directors of the company as per its regulation.

The company has now nominated Athy man Vincent Gorman to the board. It will be considered at the company’s next board meeting on 27 June 2013. Gorman is a full-time farmer who farms at Ballindrum, Athy, Co Kildare. He has significant expertise of the dairy and agricultural industry.
