A stop off at Ireland’s coffee success story Insomnia should keep Santa going through Christmas Eve.

Insomnia continues to build its partnerships with local Irish producers and have worked very closely with them on the seasonal range.  This has allowed the producer latitude in the design of the products as well as providing Insomnia customers with new exciting flavours and treats.  As a result, Insomnia has expanded its Christmas festive selection even further than ever before.

New pastries and cakes include the Red Velvet cake, Banana Pecan & Date Loaf, Spiced Apple Pastry,  Nutcracker Brownie and festive favourites Gingerbread Men and Minced Pies. ‘Sweet Things’ owner Ciara Byrne creates the delicious cakes in Smithfield with fruit sourced from the Smithfield market and the master baker feels Insomnia are a fantastic and efficient home-grown company.

Of course it’s the festive beverages, which are always popular with Insomnia fans and are already gaining great reviews.  The menu includes Hazelnut Hot chocolate, Honeycomb Hot Chocolate, Frosted White Chocolate Mocha and Cinnamon Meringue Latte & Cappuccino.

This Christmas Insomnia has created a range of sweet and savoury products to suit all tastes while keeping some Christmas classics on the menu.  The festive favourites combined with the complete Insomnia Christmas store experience is sure to help customers get into the Christmas spirit.

Insomnia has a policy to, where possible, source produce locally, support Irish firms and encourage growth in the domestic economy.  Insomnia currently has 14 Irish suppliers and with 76 Insomnia stores throughout Ireland, each with a strong base of loyal and engaged customers, helps provide a nationwide platform for the Irish suppliers to raise awareness of their products.

“Christmas is our favourite time in Insomnia and we love to see what our suppliers  producers have created for our customers.  It is our job to ensure the festive theme matches product quality and gives our customers a truly festive flavoured experience! Of course our festive beverages are hugely popular and, as I was recently informed, Christmas isn’t Christmas without an Insomnia speciality drink in one of our new Christmas cups,” said Bobby Kerr, Insomnia chairperson.
