Origin Enterprises plc has announced the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors.

It is appointing Gary Britton and Rose Hynes to the Board with effect from October 1, 2015.

Gary Britton is currently a Non-Executive Director of The Irish Stock Exchange plc, KBC Bank Ireland plc, The Cheshire Foundation in Ireland and Cairn Homes plc.

He was previously a partner in KPMG where he served in a number of senior positions, including the firm’s Board, the Remuneration and Risk Committees and as head of its Audit Practice.

Gary is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Banking.

Rose Hynes is the Senior Independent Director of Total Produce plc, One Fifty One plc and Mincon plc. She is also Chairman of Shannon Group plc and Ervia.

She previously held a number of senior executive positions with GPA Group plc in the period 1988-2002 including General Counsel and Head of the Commercial Department. A law graduate of University College Dublin and a lawyer, Rose is an Associate of the Irish Institute of Taxation and of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
