Due to continued growth, Agriland is looking for a news journalist to join our expanding editorial team.
If you’re an energetic and enthusiastic qualified journalist, with a passion for all things digital, then we have an opportunity for you.
You will be working with other news and technical journalists. For this news-based role, an agricultural qualification is not needed; applicants should have some awareness or understanding of farming.
You will be busy generating news content, following leads and keeping on top of day-to-day developments across the farming and agri-business sectors – as well as topics of wider interest across rural Ireland.
You will enjoy producing factual, clean copy to tight deadlines, as well as pitching ideas for original content to the editor. You will also be involved with our social media channels. You must be driven, hard-working and flexible.
