After cool wet weather over the past week in most places, Met Eireann is reporting that temperatures could reach up to 25 degrees today in some parts of the country and is set to last the weekend.
After “a rather cloudy” morning with a little drizzle on northern coasts at first, “sunnier skies over the south will become more widespread as the day goes on,” it said. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees Celsius on south and west coasts, but temperatures are set to reach between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius elsewhere – warmest in Leinster.
