Details of the livestock at this year’s National Ploughing Championship has been revealed, as well as stalls dedicated to progressive genetics, sheep shearing and a milking demo.

The event will take place September 24 to 26 at Ratheniska, Stradbally, Laois.

Livestock at this year’s show include the Irish Limousin, Charolais, Aberdeen Angus and Belgian Blue. The British Pig Association, Bord Bia and Glanbia will also be in attendance.

The event is one of Europe’s largest largest outdoor exhibitions and trade shows with up to 190,000 visitors expected and 1,100 exhibitors.
