Course tutors / third level teaching positions

FarmEd is looking to recruit course tutors for full-time positions.

The roles will involve preparing and delivering classes, workshops, tutorials and practical skills instruction for Level 5 and Level 6 agriculture courses.

The ideal candidate should have a Level 8 agricultural degree or a Higher Diploma in education; along with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and plenty of enthusiasm.

Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to prioritise and manage tasks to completion, are also necessary.

Dairy herd milker / general farm worker

A Co. Wicklow farm is looking for a competent milker for its 160-cow pedigree herd.

Experience is required in animal welfare, feeding, calving, machinery work and some record keeping. The candidate must also have the ability to carry out day-to-day farm jobs that arise.
