The Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) is set to celebrate its centennial this year and its AGM will take place at 4pm on 18th July at the FTMTA offices near Naas.

Members will receive further details, including the agenda and associated material, in relation to the meeting in due course. Nomination forms for elections to the executive council of the association will also be sent to all members in the coming weeks.

The FTMTA has been in existence for almost 100 years. It was formed in 1913 when a group of dealers created the Agricultural Implement Trade Association Ireland. There are currently more than 200 members of the association and it is managed by a group of 17 voluntary executive council members all of whom work in the industry either as owner/managers or senior officers in their respective companies.
