FBD opened the doors of its new re-branded branch last Friday, September 1, in Naas in Co. Kildare.

CEO of FBD Insurance plc, Fiona Muldoon, and Branch Manager, Brian Scully, officially opened the company’s new branch in Naas and marked the occasion with an event for employees, customers and guests.

The company has a longstanding presence in Naas, having established a branch in the town in 1970. Fittingly, the company’s first re-branded branch office is Naas and it is located in the town centre on the Sallins Road.

Speaking at the opening, Muldoon said: “Naas is the first of FBD’s nationwide branches to be fitted out with our new look.

As we have been working closely with the farmers, small businesses, motorists and homeowners of Naas and the surrounding area for almost 50 years, we are delighted that Naas is first.

“FBD is proud of our nationwide network of offices and our Mullingar-based service centre and we believe we bring real value and service to customers’ insurance needs.

“This new office is a sign of our on-going commitment to Naas and our on-going confidence in the business opportunity that County Kildare presents for FBD Insurance,” she added.

“Through this location, I am confident that Brian and his experienced team will competitively continue to serve the insurance needs of the farmers, business people and consumers of Co. Kildare.”

Branch Manager Brian Scully also spoke at the opening, saying: “I’m delighted to officially open our first national re-branded branch here in our new location in Naas.

This is good news for the local area and for local business people and consumers.

“The continuing increase in the population of the town further highlights Naas’ position as an important urban centre with good economic prospects,” Scully said.

FBD is one of Ireland’s largest property and casualty insurers, looking after the insurance needs of farmers, consumers and business owners.

Established 50 years ago, “by farmers for farmers”, FBD has said that it has built on those roots in agriculture to become a leading general insurer serving the needs of its direct agricultural, small business and consumer customers throughout Ireland.

The company has a network of 33 branches nationwide.
