Discussions continue on food pricing

The Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine will meet with representatives from the Competition Authority and the National Consumers Agency, to continue their discussions regarding  (i) the proposed Code of Conduct for the grocery goods sector; (ii) Pricing and impact on primary and secondary suppliers; (iii) Support for local produce; and (iv) Labelling.  This meeting will be held tomorrow, Tuesday July 16th, at 2pm.
