Boy (14) killed in crash involving tractor in Wexford

A 14-year-old boy was killed last night (Wednesday) when the car in which he was a passenger collided with a tractor in Co. Wexford.

Reports say that the crash happened near Oulart and happened when the car they were travelling in collided with a tractor and trailer

The boy, Conor Byrne, was in the car with his mother, just a couple of hundred yards from the family home.

The driver of the tractor was not hurt and the teen’s mother was not critically injured.

Reports in the Irish Independent say the teenager was a keen sports fan who hailed from a very successful GAA family and was a member of Oulart the Ballagh GAA club.
