Third-level students are currently planning and preparing placements to undertake next year, as part of their work experience requirements.

AgriLand is delighted to offer a number of students the opportunity to complete part or all of their work experience with us – Ireland’s largest farming news portal.

The positions will ideally suit students currently completing an undergraduate degree programme in agricultural science, or other related disciplines, at honours level in all third level institutes.

These placements will vary in length – up to a maximum of 15 weeks – and shorter terms can be arranged to suit your specific course requirements.

Completing part or all of your work experience with AgriLand will give you the opportunity to work first hand with our news and technical teams.

Furthermore, you will experience the fast-paced nature of a working newsroom. You will be afforded the opportunity to put the practical element of your studies into practice by generating both news and technical articles.

The placement will also allow you to develop contacts within the wider agricultural industry, that will stand to you over the duration of your agri career.

Further details of this opportunity will become available over the coming weeks; stay tuned to AgriLand for a chance to make your work experience really stand out from the crowd.
