This year Agriland.ie is teaming up with Lely at the National Ploughing Championships.

In what has been an amazing year of growth, we are now the largest digital publisher in the agri space. Our app, which was only launched days ago is already in the top 5 downloads in the app store

At this year’s Ploughing, we plan to bring our readers as close to the action as possible, with up-to-the minute news and reports from the site, as well as pictures of all the action and the latest weather and traffic reports.

We are also pleased to announce that we are partnering with one of the most innovative and progressive companies at the Ploughing – Lely.

As part of our partnership we will bring you daily updates from the Lely stand, with live cameras showing the live robotic milking demonstration, which is without doubt one of the most innovative displays at the Ploughing. So, even if you can’t make it to year’s event, you can still catch all the excitement from the Lely stand.

“We are delighted to team up once again this year with the NPA for a live robotic milking demonstration” said Tomás Cooney, Sales Support and Marketing Manager with Lely. “The Lely Astronaut A4 robotic milking system really proves again that agriculture is a specialised industry where technology plays a key role. With the removal of milk quotas in 2015 becoming ever closer dairy farmers will once again have an opportunity to see what Lely can do for their business in the future.”

He continued “Agriland has demonstrated in a short period of time that digital media is fast becoming a major communications tool and their growth in terms of traffic to their portal and reputation is an unquestionable demonstration of this. We look forward to working closely with them over the duration of the next few days.”

Agriland will also be providing free Wi-Fi to all visitors to the Lely stand where you can meet members of the Agriland.ie team and enter our amazing draw to win a Honda quad worth over €6,000.

Managing Director of Agriland.ie Cormac Farrelly said: “The growth in the digital space among the agricultural community is clearly reflected in the fact that within one year Agriland.ie has become the largest agricultural portal in the country.”

“We are delighted to be working with such an innovative company as Lely. We feel it reflects our own ethos and brand values, as we are both bringing the latest techonological innovations to the agricultural community.”
